The wife & I just watched the story around the recalled peanut butter. Then we looked in the cabinet. Turns out we have a 95% empty Great Value PB jar that, yes, begins in the dreaded 2111 serial number. No, my wife didn't get sick.
She...lucked...out.

I have a new jar with the same code when you run out.Think the company waited long eough to tell us???
yeah, we had ourselves some salmonela sammiches too, our jar didn't have enough pb left to spread on a saltine (who puts those empty jars back into the pantry...) I just figure that this boosts our immune system against that next big bad virus or whatever!
