Southern Comfort Motel Update
Today, the Board of Adjustment voted to set a compliance (closing) date of December 31, 2007 for the Southern Comfort Motel. We thank the Board for their decision.
The motel owners have filed for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) to keep the motel open. We are waiting for an opinion with respect to how this will affect the proceedings. The Board of Adjustment considered that filing a separate process from today's hearing.

I bought a new outfit for the occasion and got my CDL last week.
All joking aside, I have been looking forward to this moment for the entire 2 years that I have been living in this neighborhood. I praise God that you are out there lifting up the rug and showing how the dirt has been swept underneath for decades.
