Thank You Carla Ranger

Last night, DISD District 6 school board Trustee Carla Ranger held her Community Education Forum at Carter High School.

My pastor, Rev. Bryan Carter of Concord Missionary Baptist Church gave a great message as well. I was also impressed by Leslie Williams, who is Executive Director of the Superintendent's Learning Community (pdf link). Mr. Williams was a Principal of the Year when he served at Skyline High School.

Thank you for the information and allowing citizens to ask questions and learn more about the changes in the DISD.

Mrs. Ranger has stated that this will be the first in a series of sessions that will move around her District.

I repeat, where and who does Ron Price work for? I believe Ron Price did not vote due to the political liability he has wrapped around his well-being. Adam Medrano is a political joke. Everybody in Dallas knows City of Dallas taxpayers are the ones who pay his salary so he can play dumb and dumber sitting like a dummy saying nothing at school board meetings. When is an investigative reporter in Dallas going to go back 6 months and compare his City of Dallas Park & Recreation Department hand written sign in-sign out weekly work timesheets and compare them to the same 6 months of his attendance at the various school board meetings and committee meetings he participates in for the DISD? Bet Dallas Park & Recreation Department Director Paul Dyer knows about this and acts dumb and dumber about this situation too. But Ron Price's actions last night at the board meeting gave DISD taxpayers a crystal clear picture of a politician who is clearly not serving DISD taxpayers. In my opinion, if you find out how Ron Price makes his living, you'll find out why Ron Price did not vote last night.

In closing, it is unbelievable that last night’s school board meeting was not held in the large auditorium. DISD taxpayers pay their hard earned taxes so they can be represented and accommodated in the best possible manner so they can involve themselves in order to better participate in the educational, business, and political aspects of the DISD. DISD taxpayers deserve better. The revolution against the DISD should begin immediately with a recall of every DISD board member who voted YES to the RIF last night!
