The Call to Invest is Deafening

In the last few weeks, there have been multiple articles on the disparity of investment in southern Dallas compared to North Dallas. Here are some of my favorites:

Rufus Shaw's community editorial in the Dallas Morning News: "Where is southern Dallas' share?" (link).

My article in the December issue of D Magazine (link).

"The Dreams of Tomorrow" editorial in the DMN (link).

The voices will get louder. It's not going away.

I was watching the news cast last night and saw the report on grocery
chains ignoring South Dallas neighborhoods. In relation to this
report,I have been in contact with the Department of Economic Development as well as the Chamber of Commerce of South Dallas for a grocery store /market development on 2nd Ave. I have emails dating back to December 2006 trying to gather information and support to develop South Dallas.

Now I have some support to bring business, jobs, economic vitality, and a sense of livelihood to these areas.

I have 4.67 acres of vacant land available for grocery store or market development so I was wondering if you can put me in contact with a developer. I am eager to give something back to these residents so your help is greatly appreciated.
