In response, our nationwide network of bloggers (the AfroSpear) as well as others are participating in a nationwide Day of Blogging for Justice. We have a few words for Sarah Palin:
If you belong to a PTA - you are a community organizer.
If you belong to an HOA or crime watch - you are a community organizer.
If you have put together a group to improve your neighborhood, city, or school district - you are a community organizer.
Maybe someone will tell Sarah Palin that community organizers matter. Let's tell her in the voting booth!

I am NOT a community organizer, but today's efforts by community organizing bloggers have inspired me to blog about community work and the spirit of hope!
Daughtry's message of hope
This video shows images of hope and help. Remember: Sara Palin is in the minority, a vocal one with a big stage, but she really doesn't get it.
Maybe someone should have Sarah read all of the blogs who joined in today's day of blogging, so she can get an understanding of what Community Organizers really do. Because she clearly has no clue!
I think the organizers of today's blogging effort should be applauded for getting the word out about this Blogging Day For Justice! I am honored to join the ranks of other Community workers to let our voice be heard! I am proud to be a Community Worker and Community Organizer!
Blessings!
Excellent points. Re the video: When I interviewed Diane Abbott MP, the first woman of African heritage to be elected to the House of Commons (ever), she said not everyone can be a Parliamentarian. But everyone can participate at a community level.
