I thought the word yesterday was the Angela didn't get a chair position. Is the one listed considered not prime?
The way the article was written, who knows? I guess according to some it's not a "marquee" appointment. I beg to differ, I see it as an important committee as judicial appointments are extremely important.
Also, all councilmembers are welcome to attend any committee meeting and ask as many questions as they want.
I was confused too. But if the two of YOU are confused, then I feel better.
God love Angela Hunt...I think sometimes, with the amount of energy we apply to discussing her applied energy, if harnessed we could make wind power and solar combined look like yesterday's news as a source for alternative grid perspectives.
Angela was shut out of the committee chairs on orders of Da Mayor. Nice to see the man doesn't hold grudges...
I don't think it's a grudge thing. This is essentially the same setup as '07, where they hadn't served on council together and there was no perceived grudge to be had.
With the Trinity, which seems to be some people's point of contention, the current Chair's and Vice Chair's districts (#3 and #6 respectively) run directly through the Trinity River Corridor.
