I worked on a project like this about 20 years ago while I was completing my MBA at Texas State in San Marcos. I was on the marketing team for the "Texas Triangle": a 200+ MPH bullet train running between Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and terminating in Dallas.

Southwest Airlines and its high-priced lobbyists worked overtime to kill the project in the Legislature. Hopefully, the time has come for Texas to catch up with the rest of the modern world. We'll see!
